Saxophones are the best instruments in the entire world! We're like the egotistical trumpet player but everyone actually likes us! Being a saxophone player I have had many experiences with my saxophone. When I first got it, it was almost like Christmas day. I opened the box and literally almost cried because I was so happy. I remember putting it together for the first time & playing it that night. Although I was just a beginner I thought I sounded great. From that day forward I knew I wanted to do something with that intrument. I had to make a difference, get better, & inspire others. I won't say I'm the best sax player but I will say I'm pretty okay. Everyone here thinks I do something special in the quartet of my marching band show, or any time I play for that matter, & all I can do is sit there like -_-. Honestly I don't know how I've gotten to the level I'm at when I never practice & I have a freaking beginners "throw in the garbage" saxophone. Don't get me wrong, I love Charles (my saxophone's name), but its been well overdue for a new saxophone. Charles has been great & we have had many memories together but we're starting to grow apart & I need room to develop & he just can't give me that. There's no way my mother is going to get me a new one since I'm "not going into music." I think I need to realize I have to minor or do something in music. Being a doctor will be great & I know I'll always have a passion for helping other, but I also need to fill my that space in my heart for music. I barely can get through the day without it so I know I have to do something. Enough about me, saxophones are amazing people! Although out family is a disfunctional bunch we're the coolest & tightest. Without the saxophone, what would jazz be? Who would president Clinton be? Saxophones. We're pretty awsome! ;)
